Results from over 100 million ft of screening show that 65 to 90 percent of pipes in the aver- age utility do not need to be cleaned. This allows SL-RAT users to priori- tize resources to needed areas. With the capability to assess 10-20,000 ft/day at 1/10th-1/20th the cost of cleaning or CCTV, acoustic inspection can be a great preliminary screening tool with substantial cost savings. Booth #1052 K E R N E O S SewperCoat is a technological break- through in cementitious material de- signed speciically for the municipal wastewater industry to provide a struc- tural, abrasion and corrosion-resistant, protective lining against biogenic corro- sion relative to hydrogen sulide (H2S) found in wastewater environments. The unique mineralogy of SewperCoat is the key to its ultimate performance. Both the cement and aggregate in SewperCoat are 100 percent pure fused calcium alu- minate. This provides a level of protec- tion that other CA based mortars with a natural aggregate system simply cannot achieve. The full circle CIPP main- line portion creates a 50 year structural repair while the lateral portion simul- taneously renews the lateral up to 150 ft. T-Liner uses ASTM F3240 compli- ant Insignia O-ring gaskets at the lat- eral termination and a connection hat, both made of hydrophilic rubber, at the main-to-lateral connection, creating a long-term water-tight seal to match the structural life. This system can be installed with either polyester or epoxy resin in lined or unlined mainlines.
